Kota Kinabalu is situated on the tropical island of Borneo, and is the state capital of the Malaysian state Sabah, which is one of the two states of East Malaysia.

The location of the city is absolutely amazing; and from the airport it is just a short ride to mostly any hotel. Kota Kinabalu is not only an instant resort city but also the perfect place for business, congresses and meetings. The business district is centrally located - with government, banks and commercial offices. 



Itinerary

 

Day 1– Arrival/City Tour/Dinner Transfer

Meet up with the city guide upon the arrival at the airport and begin the city tour. Kota Kinabalu is located amongst the lush green mountain and South China Sea, and it is a pleasant surprise for the island of Borneo. As a resort city, Kota Kinabalu is modern as well having lot of tourist attractions, like state museum,Puh Toh Si Chinese Temple, Tun Mustapha Building(formerly known as sabah foundation building) and state mosque. We will later proceed to shopping complex or handicraft market to shop for souvenirs. Dinner transfer will be arranged after that(Self Pay)then check in and overnight at 3 stars Citytel Express kota kinabalu hotel.

 

Day 2 – Island Tour

After breakfast, meet our guide at 0830hrs from hotel lobby and transfer to Sutera Jetty for your boat scheduled at 09.30hrs to Manukan Island.  Free and easy or enjoy some of the water sport such as Jet ski, Parasailing or banana boat which can be arrange with tour guide or water sport staff (Pay locally).  You may also enjoy swimming, snorkeling or just exploring the area.

At 1200hrs, transfer to Sapi Island and BBQ lunch will be served.

Free and easy until your boat transfer back to mainland or earlier depend on the weather.
(Activities you can do there: snorkelling, underwater seawalk, scuba Doo, swimming, relaxing etc)

Upon arrival at Sutera Jetty, transfer back to your hotel.  Overnight at hotel. (B)
For dinner, you are free to go on your own.

 

Day 3 – Kinabalu Park& Poring Hot Spring

After breakfasts, we check out and Meet our guide and driver at 0800hrs at hotel lobby and transfer to and embark about 2 hours to Kinabalu Park.  En-route stop visit the Pekan Nabalu for photo stop or buy local produces/ Handicraft.

Proceed to Kinabalu Park a botanist’s paradise was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO covers an area of 754sq.km with an altitude range up to the summit of Mt Kinabalu standing at 4095.2m above sea level. The park is home to the various species of flora and fauna. Visit the Mountain Garden (Botanical Garden) the biggest attractions at the Park.  Started in 1981 this 5-acre Garden is an excellent showcase as flora from all over the Park has been replanted here.  Many of these plants are not only lovely to look upon but have medicinal value too.

Lunch at Kundasang Area. ( self pay)

Proceed to Poring Hot Spring.  Upon arrival, experience the Poring forest canopy walk and see the spectacular view of tropical rainforest from 100-200ft above the forest floor lead by our guide.  The trail is quite steep and the walk takes 30-40 minutes altogether.

Enjoy an invigorating mineral bath in the outdoor tubs based on first come first served or just explore the area.

Pack all your belongings and return to Kota Kinabalu then drop off at airport. (B)
