Itinerary
Day 1: Airport pick up / city tour with lunch along the way, overnight at Beringgis Beach Resort. (L)
Meet and greet at the airport and proceed for city tour to explore Kota Kinabalu or “KK’ as it is popularly known, is a pleasant Borneo surprise, set between lush tropical hills and the South China Sea. Kota Kinabalu is the state capital of Sabah and a resort-city of exciting contrasts – vibrant, serene and hassle-free, with modern infrastructure and many attractions. Tour features State Museum, Puh Toh Tze Buddhist Temple, Wisma Tun Mustapha (formerly known as Sabah Foundation Building), and State Mosque. You will have lunch along the way. Drop off at Shopping Complex or Handicraft market and then return to your hotel and overnight at Beringgis Beach Resort.
Day 2: Rumah Terbalik / Nabalu Market / Kinabalu Park / Poring Hot Spring. Overnight at Kinabalu Pine Resort. (B, L, D)
After breakfasts, meet our guide and driver at 0800hrs at hotel lobby and our first stop will be Rumah Terbalik. We will stop there to visit and take photos before moving on to Kinabalu Park.
En-route stop visit the Pekan Nabalu for photo stop or buy local produces/ Handicraft.
Proceed to Kinabalu Park a botanist’s paradise was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO covers an area of 754sq.km with an altitude range up to the summit of Mt Kinabalu standing at 4095.2m above sea level. The park is home to the various species of flora and fauna. Lunch at Kundasang Area.
Proceed to Poring Hot Spring. Upon arrival, experience the Poring forest canopy walk and see the spectacular view of tropical rainforest from 100-200ft above the forest floor lead by our guide. The trail is quite steep and the walk takes 30-40 minutes altogether.
Enjoy an invigorating mineral bath in the outdoor tubs based on first come first served or just explore the area.
Then, proceed to Kinabalu Pine Resort to check in. You will be brought to a nearby restaurant for dinner.
Day 3: Visit Desa Cow Farm, Sabah Tea Garden, Kpg. Luanti Fish Spa. Overnight at Kinabalu Pine Resort. (B,L at Mesilau Nature Resort, D)
After breakfast, proceed to Desa Cow Farm. This is a place where you feel like you are being in New Zealand with the mountainous scenery there. We can take some photos and visit the milk processing plant there.
After that, you will visit Sabah Tea Garden. Indulge in its beautiful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. A trip to the tea garden is both educational and fun, one where visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities such as obstacle-crossing in the Sapaon Recreational Area or trekking along the trails to the peak of Kamunsu Hill.
Next, we proceed to Kampung Luanti, then proceed to the nearby Moroli River for massage session. The fish massage is deemed to have a curative effect on those who suffers from psoriasis. Return to Kinabalu Pine Resort after enjoying your dinner.
Day 4: On way down, visit Tamparuli Suspension Bridge, then back to KK , Overnight at Sabah Oriental Hotel. (B)
After breakfast, free and easy until time to check out. On the way back to Kota Kinabalu, stop by at Tamparuli Suspension Bridge. There, you could see a nice view of Tamparuli town from the bridge. The highest point is Ruhiang Hill, a spot for paragliding during weekends.
Continue your journey back to Kota Kinabalu. You will check in at Sabah Oriental Hotel (3 star). Free and easy for the rest of the day.
Day 5: After breakfast, we depart for airport. (B)
After breakfast, you are free to explore Kota Kinabalu city on your own before check out. At 10:45am, the driver will pick you up from the hotel then proceed to go to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your flight departure home.
Includes: 1 night stay at Beringgis Beach Resort, 2 nights stay at Kinabalu Pine Resort, 1 night stay at Sabah Oriental Hotel, meals as stated, private tour, guide, airport transfer, entrance fee, welcome gift for the mrs, visits to Rumah terbalik / Nabalu Market / Kinabalu Park / Poring Hot Spring, Desa CowFarm, Sabah Tea, Kpg.
